RULES & BOOKING INFORMATION
There is absolutely NO SMOKING inside the cottage.
The Lucky Break Cottage is a nice up north getaway for friends, relatives, families, and couples. It is not party central. We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
Guests must conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of our property and surrounding property owners. We also ask that guests observe the Kalkaska County noise ordinances which require lower noise levels between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am
PETS
Dogs are allowed and approved on a case-by-case basis. An additional pet security deposit of $50.000 is required for pets. This pet security deposit will be returned within 7 days upon a satisfactory inspection at check-out. Cats are not permitted at the cottage. Absolutely NO CATS.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to secure your dates.
A photocopy of a US Drivers License is required.
You must also sign and return the Liability, Release, and Indemnification agreement.
RECEIVING KEYS-
The signed rental agreement, Drivers License copy, and full payment is required 15 days prior to your scheduled stay. Once everything is received the map and keys will be sent to you within 7 days of your arrival date.
DEPOSIT
The deposit is nonrefundable if you cancel or do not show up.
(Extenuating circumstances will be considered at owner’s discretion.)
The deposit will hold your reservation and will be held as damage deposit during your stay. Upon an acceptable damage inspection It is refundable within a week of your departure.
There is to be absolutely NO cleaning or gutting of any wild game on the property.
The cottage is to be left in the same general condition it was received.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE - To help guide you the checkout procedures are posted inside the cottage.
* Check out time is 11:00AM, unless otherwise indicated on your agreement
*Please leave key(s) on counter.
* Please close all windows.
* Please close garage door.
* Please turn off all lights and appliances.
* Please set the thermostat to 60 degrees(in the winter).
* Please leave the sheets on the beds and the dirty towels in the laundry room as we will launder them.
* Please place all trash in the trash containers located in the garage.
* Please lock front and side doors.
You are welcome to use anything that has been left out and available, within reason.
